CIVIC LEADERSHIP
Since 1986 the Eugene and Springfield Chambers of Commerce have promoted and fostered the development of civic leadership in our communities. Leadership Eugene-Springfield is a collaborative effort of the two chambers to create knowledgeable, networked, skilled, involved and passionate leaders who will:
- Advocate for and represent the community as whole.
- Value the interaction of government, business and charitable institutions in creating a healthy Eugene/Springfield economy.
- Be involved in creating a positive future for their community.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
When talking with executives across the community we have heard repeatedly that businesses are looking for resources to train their people to be better leaders- managers, directors and officers. After more than a year of research and development, Onward Eugene and the Eugene Chamber are partnering together to launch a community-wide leadership initiative, RISE Leadership Institute.
RISE Leadership Institute intends to narrow that gap by offering a leadership development solution that is high-tech and still high-touch; that is scalable and sustainable—not only teaching you what areas you need to grow in, but giving you the tools to do so and succeed.
