Building a strong economy with good jobs
The well-being of a community depends largely on its economic health, and the Eugene Chamber is committed to enhancing the prosperity of our region through our economic development and job-creation efforts. The Chamber’s economic development strategies build on regional strengths, focusing on supporting businesses in four primary areas: business retention/expansion (BRE), building local business sectors, business recruitment, and entrepreneurship/innovation.
In addition, the Eugene Chamber is a partner in local economic development efforts such as RAIN Eugene, Lane County Sector Strategies Team, the Willamette Angels, the Arts and Business Alliance of Eugene, Travel Lane County and Downtown Eugene, Inc.
These strategies work together to improve the business climate and make Eugene a great place to start, expand, or locate a business.
