Positions and Endorsements

Drive development of strategic infrastructure projects with a focus on high-livability projects.
  • Industrial Land: Drive efforts to add industrial land to our current inventory and work to ensure development of industrial land is as simple and efficient as possible.

  • Economic development incentives: Advocate for appropriate economic development incentives and initiatives that aim to drive downtown revitalization and job creation.

  • Riverfront Master Plan: Promote the successful redevelopment of the EWEB Riverfront property and advocate for necessary tools and incentives to realize the community’s Riverfront Master Plan.

  • Transportation:  Monitor and advocate for transportation services that enhance community livability and support regional economic development; including regional air service, efficient public transit, and responsible transportation system planning.

  • Education: Advocate for K-12 education improvements that support workforce development and improve the quality of public education in our region.

Advocate on behalf of local businesses for local and state policies that enhance or protect a positive business climate.
  • Statewide Business Advocacy: Participate in statewide business advocacy conversations and collaborate with state partners in advocating for select state issues.

  • Local Business Advocacy: Lead local business advocacy efforts regarding policies and procedures that impact local businesses.

Lead efforts to develop, encourage and support effective and informed civic leaders.
  • Leadership Eugene-Springfield: Deliver annual leadership program in partnership with Springfield Chamber of Commerce. Learn more

  • Candidate Development: Support and develop business friendly candidates by providing candidate training programs and encouraging them to apply for local boards & commissions.

  • Young Professionals: Develop and execute young professional programming focused on civic education as well as talent retention and recruitment through young professional events and the annual Young Professional Summit.
