LANE EARLY LEARNING REGISTERED APPRENTICESHIP:
ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
|
The Lane Early Learning Apprenticeship (LELA) program helps early childhood educators grow their skills, advance their careers, and earn while they learn.
Through the LELA Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (MA #3013), apprentices receive paid, on‑the‑job training paired with college‑level coursework. Along the way, they get support from experienced mentors and have two clear pathways to choose from: earning a Child Development Associate (CDA) or completing a 1‑year Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate. This program is designed to make professional growth accessible, supportive, and connected to real opportunities in our region’s early learning community. |
If you're an employer interested in participating, please submit this form to [email protected].

child care availability report
If you’re an employer with employees struggling to find open child care slots, the Child Care Availability Report is a tool at your fingertips to share widely with your workforce. It has our community’s most up-to-date information about child care openings for children of all ages, specific details about the days/times available, location, and program descriptions.
Onward and the Eugene Chamber of Commerce have partnered with Quality Care Connections, our local Child Care Resource and Referral agency at Lane Community College, to survey all licensed child care programs about their current openings and publish and share a monthly report.
