Advocacy

A Voice for Business in the Eugene/Springfield Region

The Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce focuses on strategically influencing public policy to advance our regional economic development agenda.
Important opportunities that set the future direction of our community take place virtually every day at some level of local or state government. If you believe, as we do, that a healthy business environment is an essential component of livability, then a constructive business voice contributing to those discussions is imperative.

The Chamber is the only broad-based business organization that aspires to represent business interests no matter your size, industry or location. We monitor public policy issues and advocate on your behalf so you can focus on your business, not government regulation. If you're doing business in the Eugene area — even if your company is located outside the area — we are working on your behalf
Strategic Goals and Initiatives

Our advocacy goals and initiatives are developed in conjunction with the Chamber's Board of Directors annually.

Get Involved in our Advocacy Efforts

Any success the Eugene Chamber achieves in the public policy arena is directly dependent on the passionate efforts put forth by our dedicated members. We have several opportunities for members to engage in advocacy efforts throughout the community. Learn more about our current policy committees or consider applying for the Leadership Eugene-Springfield program.
