Event Description:
On March 14th at 7 pm the Hearing Loss Association of Lane County will offer a presentation and discussion about “What Works at Work When You Have Hearing Loss.” The meeting will start with a review by Melita Green from the local Oregon Vocational Rehabilitation office about the services that they provide for hard of hearing clients. This will be followed by brief presentations from a number of employed or formerly employed people who are hard of hearing after which there will be a general question and answer session. Everyone is invited to share problems they face, or solutions they reached when faced with a hearing loss while employed or seeking employment. The meeting will be held at the Hilyard Center, 2580 Hilyard Street, Eugene. No cost.
