Southern Willamette Angel Network (SWAN)

The Southern Willamette Angel Network (SWAN) – Formerly known as the Lane Venture Forum (LVF), SWAN was officially launched in July 2009. This angel network is made up of accredited* investors from within the Southern Willamette Valley. This network meets as a group to review emerging growth business plans. The investors decide whether or not to invest – either individually or co-investing with other members.

Process for Submitting to SWAN:

1. E-mail your Executive Summary and Pitch Deck to JJ O'Connell

2.  Your submission will be reviewed and you can expect to hear back within two weeks after your submission. You will be notified whether or not you’re selected to pitch to SWAN. We will inform you if additional coaching is required, and where possible, we will recommend advisers.

*SEC Definition of an Individual Accredited Investor: A natural person whose individual net worth, or joint net worth with that person’s spouse, presently exceeds $1,000,000.  (Net worth must be calculated excluding the value of the person’s primary residence. The related amount of indebtedness secured by the primary residence up to its fair market value may also be excluded.). Or, A natural person who had individual income in excess of $200,000 or joint income with that person’s spouse in excess of $300,000in each of the two most recent years, and has a reasonable expectation of reaching the same income level in the current year.
